Merry Christmas!

We hope that everyone had a fantastic Christmas! Our Christmas was one of the best--we are so grateful to our family and friends for making this such an amazing holiday season. age. It was a little overwhelming with all the kids and toys, but everyone enjoyed themselves. The first photo was taken Christmas morning when Keira opened her presents with Mommy & Daddy. The last two are Keira with her cousins.

I LOVE PAINT

Keira discovered the joy of painting with her cousins and Aunt Tricia. She was covered!...But she loved every minute of it. She even enjoyed eating the paint (non-toxic, of course)! Yummy!

Santa!

This was our second attempt to see Santa this year. Mommy and Daddy had to be in the photo with Keira--apparently Santa is really scary to a One year old!

We can't wait to see everyone over the holidays!

Fun at Fuddruckers

Since I was sick with the stomach flu over most of the Thanksgiving, I didn't capture a lot of Keira (If anyone snapped any photos over Turkey Day--pass them along and I will post them). This picture is from when we went to Fuddruckers last week. Daddy and Keira are on the motorcycle game--Keira is a VERY serious rider (as you can see). I told her that this is the closest she will ever get to riding one (if I have anything to say about it)!

William's 1st Birthday!

Keira's boyfriend turned One! I can't believe he's already a year old-- time flies. Since Keira and William go to daycare together, and see each other pretty much every weekend...we're trying to figure out how they're not going to grow up like brother and sister so that they can get married.

MONKEY JOE'S

Monkey Joe's is Keira's new favorite place. We met Aunt Tricia, Audrey & Zadie there and she didn't want to leave. Looks like we will be coming here again soon.

Happy Halloween

Family and friends came over to celebrate Halloween with Keira. Grandma & Grandpa, Great Uncle Bruce & Great Aunt Chicki, Aunt Nicky, Uncle Jeff & Aunt Dani...and some strange hillbilly man named Chris.

We made our annual chili & dogs and hung outside in the beautiful-- yet strange--weather. Here are some more pics of Keira in her cute princess costume. Notice, we have on our light up shoes so that we don't lose them this time around.

Early Trick or Treating

Aunt Tricia's neighborhood has the annual festivities the weekend before Halloween, so Keira got her 1st taste of Trick or Treating last weekend. I think she had more fun chasing her cousins than getting candy, but Mommy and Daddy will enjoy the rewards! She was a beautiful princess, and she lost a shoe...sound familiar (she really did!)? Looks like we have a Cinderella on our hands.

Lumier Sculpture Park

Mommy and Daddy took Keira to Lumier Sculpture Park last week. Last year I would take Keira walking through the trails at this park, and look forward to the days when she could run free over the vast landscape. This is exactly what she did--and she loved it. Keira loves anything outdoors, so I'm sure we'll make several trips here before it gets too cold!

Good Times Camping

Keira went camping for the first time last weekend. Again, she pleasantly surprised us with how well she adapts. She loves to be outside. We went camping on a friends farm land during their annual "Turkey Roast". There was about 40 of us (20 adults, 20 kids). It was more of a festival than camping...they have a massive sand box, slide and Bounce a Round. We hope we get invited back next year!

Zadie Turns TWO!

We had a great time at Zadie's "Dora" Birthday Party on Sunday. From jumping on the trampoline, to swinging, to climbing on everything she could--Keira was BUSY! We also had a great time at Great Grandma's birthday party, but our camera ran out of juice for photos!

Eckert's Farm

Yesterday we went to Eckert's Farm with the fam to do some apple picking. Keira had a great time with pony and wagon rides! She's becoming a little 'girl' with so much personality!

Rainy Weekend

We stayed inside for the majority of the weekend because of all the rain. Here are a couple of pictures of Keira playing with her kitchen/grill. She can't get enough of it!

Japanese Festival at the Missouri Botanical Gardens

This weekend we went to the Missouri Botanical Gardens for the Japanese Festival. Keira had so much fun with her cousins.




It was a little hot, but we lathered Keira up in sunscreen and made the best of it.

We will be starting our new daycare next week! We are so excited~especially since my best friends son, William, will be starting there next week too! This picture was taken this weekend after Avery's baptism. My nieces are adorable!

Mad Search

We just found out that we have to find a new child care for Keira. Nancy is retiring from the child care business =( We are all going to miss her terribly. Kevin and I have a couple great prospects-- we're just trying to make sure that we make the best decision. It's very difficult to find someone that you wholeheartedly trust with your most precious gift. Hopefully we'll have something figured out by the end of the week! This picture was taken by Nancy while she was playing! Isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen?

Keira's 1st Birthday Party!

About 35 people came over to celebrate Keira's 1st Birthday. We decided to have an Elmo theme since every time she sees him she kicks her legs and giggles. She was overwhelmed, but excited to see everyone there. Keira has been in heaven with the millions of toy she received. It's been wonderful, especially because the weather has been so miserable in St. Louis the past couple weeks.

Keira is beginning to take solo steps and is becoming more adventurous in her attempts. Any day now she will be running around!
