Lodes Babies =)

Aunt Nicky came over to take a picture of all the babies together for a photo for Mi-Ma and Papa Lodes. Keira was so excited to be the "Big Girl" and hold cousin Adam. Thanks for coming up with the idea Nicky! I'm sure this will become a Lodes tradition.

Baby's First Christmas

I took the same type of photo of Keira on her first Christmas, so I thought I would put them side by side...granted, Keira was 5 months old at her first Christmas and Kayla was one month, but I couldn't resist!

Welcome Baby Kayla!

Kayla was born on November 24th weighing in at 7lbs 3oz and 20 inches long. She has a head full of black hair and long fingers and toes. We call her our little monkey! Keira is so excited to be a big sister!

We wanted to get the tree up while we had the time to do so. Keira was a big help with putting the ornaments up. She's becoming such a big girl!

Halloween at Grants Farm

Last weekend we went to Grant's Farm for their Halloween festivities. We met up with Aunt Nicky, Cousin Adam, Mi-Ma and Pa-Pa. Keira had a lot of fun running (or being held by Daddy!) in her Nemo costume. Everyone LOVED her costume!



Keira also started her new school this week. She absolutely loves it and raves about her new teachers.

Fun at the Zoo

Keira's daycare was closed last week so we got out and about a lot to enjoy this beautiful weather. Here are a few pictures from when we went to the Zoo with Aunt Tricia and Zadie =) Watching them play and interact it so much fun!

International Festival

Here are a few fun pictures from the International Festival at Tower Grove Park a couple weeks ago. Keira had a lot of fun with the arts and crafts tables and the different music!

Keira's 1st Baseball Game =)

We took Keira to her first baseball game on Friday. She had a lot of fun and talks about it all the time. Adam Wainwright hit a homerun, which caused the fans to scream and a display of fireworks. Now Keira associates baseball with cheering and fireworks. "Baseball, Fireworks, BOOM!"

2nd Generation BFFs! This is one of my favorite pictures. Keira and William always have fun, no matter what they are doing. It is so much fun to watch them grow up together.

Keira's First Golf Lesson

Grandma Carol got Keira a set of her own Snoopy clubs when we went to visit them in Dallas this past weekend. She got her first lesson from Daddy. She's going to be a PRO!

Monkey Joe's...Again...Again...

Keira talks about Monkey Joe's ALL the time (or as she calls it, Jumpy Joes). It can be hit or miss these days. Some days she goes crazy and wants to bounce all around and try new obstacles, and other days she wants one of us to hold her while she watches and observes the other kids.

The day we took these photos, she was going crazy on the BIG slide....."AGAIN, AGAIN Mommy!!!!"

We have to keep our fingers crossed that there's not too many big kids there because Keira is fearless, and has gotten knocked down on numerous occassions!

(If you're keeping track---Yes, this is the same outfit as the Boom Boom video--we went to Monkey Joe's before the video was taken---could explain her hyperness!)

Out to Dinner Nightmares

We have come to the realization that we can not go out to dinner with Keira....unless it's fast! She is too excited about everything and fascinated by her surroundings. She cannot sit still for very long. This photo was taken at Chevy's. We got a tip to take her to a restaurant with chips and salsa, so that would keep her busy till the food got there. Turns out, Keira doesnt like the salsa at Chevy's...

Cousin's Picnic!

Audrey and Zadie met up with us at the Sculpture Park for a dinner picnic the other day. Of course, as soon as they got to the park Keira ran up to them while squealing to hug her cousins. She gets so excited to see them!

This weekend we also went to the zoo with cousin Avery--but Bad Mommy forgot her camera =(

Early Easter

These photos were taken from and "Early Easter" at Aunt Tricia and Uncle Shawn's house. Audrey helped hide the eggs for the annual easter egg hunt! This is the first year that Keira participated--and she had a ball! She was very confused, but excited that she was finding chocolate in the grass!

Monkey Joe's

Today we went to one of Keira's favorite places--MONKEY JOE'S. Here are a couple pictures of her enjoying the indoor playground. She jumped, went down slides, ran, and climbed everything!

Picnic at the Park

It was such a beautiful day-we decided to pack a picnic and head to the park. We all have so much fun in the sun-we hope to have more gorgeous days like this.

Keira is learning new words everyday. It is so much fun to listen to her cute little voice express things she wants and feels. She chants "Outside-Outside" all the time! She even says "I wuv you". I'm not sure if she's just repeating me, but I love it all the same!

At the Park with Aunt Jen, Uncle Billy & Cousin Avery

We went up to the park Aunt Jen and I grew up going to--Queeny Park! Keira and Avery had a blast--they aren't quite yet "playing" together, but they get excited to see each other.

Keira is definitely becoming more adventurous. We didn't leave the park without a trip to the car for the first aid kit for a new boo-boo. It seems like there's a new one everyday! That kid is fearless!

We Love Hats!

Sorry we haven't posted in awhile!

Keira loves "hats"...anything that she can put on her head, she calls a hat. She's cute in anything--even this bicycle helmet!

TOOLS!

Keira got this Craftsman Tool Set/Table for Christmas and we finally put it together and out! She loves to play with it with Daddy. Of course she has to wear her goggles. Safety 1st!

Hi Daddy

We decided to make Daddy a video while he was out of town to show him how much we love and miss him. Keira learned how to make funny noises with the chair! We thought Daddy would appreciate it...

Keira Doesn't Like the Snow

We got about 8 inches of snow yesterday. Mommy and Daddy were able to stay home with Keira for most of the day. Keira was itching to get outside when she saw all the snow. To my surprise, she wanted nothing to do with it once we got her all bundled up. She looks adorable, but she was not very happy!

The Offspring

This weekend we got together with my roommates from college and their kiddos. These are a couple group photos. How cute are all of our kids!?!?! From Left to Right we have Teddy (Karen & Ted's son), Keira, Addison (Leslie & Chris' daughter), and of course William (Laura & Bill's son).

The Park in January?!?!

We decided to take advantage of the 53 degree weather on Saturday and went to Faust Park. Keira was jumping up and down with excitement when she saw the playground! She was squealing the entire time she was on the swing...I'm sure you can hear it when you look at this photo!
