Pumpkin Patch

Fall is our favorite time of year...and going to the Pumpkin Patch is one of the main reasons. The girls LOVE to be outside and the weather has been amazing. A friend of mine took these pictures when we were at Carolyn's Pumpkin Patch.

VISITORS!

Since we've moved to KC we have had several visitors--which makes us all so happy! Here are a few pictures from our fun visits!



MiMa and Papa were our most recent visitors. We went our to dinner at Stroubs, went to the park and went to the splashpark at Zona Rosa. Keira loves her "Daddy's Mom and Papa".




Laura and William came in August. After they left Keira told me she was going to marry William, but I think she might have to fight her sister for him. Kayla was smitten =)



Aunt Jen and Avery also came in August. We went to Parkville Days and the pool. They had so much fun together!




Aunt Tricia, Audrey and Zadie came in July before Audrey started school. We went to the zoo and the pool and the girls wore each other out (and their mommies!) They made PJ shirts together with fabric markers and iron on Hello Kitty decals. Fun times!

My Fashion Diva

Keira took one of Mommy's old shirts and made a dress. I think I have a fashion designer in the making!

Summer Pool Time!

It was so hot this summer that the only thing we could do most days was go to the pool. Keira took swim lessons and is getting her water wings! Kayla loved the water too and most of all loved watching her sister swim and do cannon balls.

3rd Birthday Maddness

Keira had a BLAST at her Toy Story Party. She is obsessed with Woody and Buzz. The weekend before her party we went to see her first movie in the big THEATER... Toy Story 3! She was so excited. Here are a few pics from her themed party.

Splash Park!

Today we went to Zona Rosa's splash park with a Mommy and Me playgroup. Keira had a blast and Kayla hung out in the shade and relaxed!

Going Away Party

Trish and Shawn had a going away/Birthday party for us before we moved to Kansas City. It was a lot of fun, and the girls had a great time!

St. Louis ZOO!

Keira and I played hookie one day to go to the Zoo with Aunt Tricia and Zadie. They even got to see a 3D movie of Dora &Diego. They also got really cute matching hats!

So, I found this picture of my mother-in-law, Judy, when I was packing. I thought I was looking at a picture of Kayla...I make little Lodes'...what can I say!

Memorial Day Fun in the Sun

Kayla went swimming for the first time over at Uncle Billy's sisters house. Keira had fun with her cousin, Avery. They splashed around and jumped in the pool--over and over...

Hair Cut

Kayla's hair was growing in blonde and the left over black hair was starting to look like a comb over. We decided to cut her hair, so now she is a blonde! Here is another side-by-side shot of Kayla and Keira (Kayla 6 months-Keira 7 months).

We were lucky enough to have Kayla go to the same in-home daycare as our nephew Adam. We are going to miss the Sucher's when we're in KC! Below is a picture of Adam and Kayla playing together at Dee Dee's house.

Every Sunday Kevin takes Keira to get donuts. It is her favorite day of the week!

Best Friends

William and Keira are the ultimate best friends. They even have their own language--it's a nice screaming squeeling sound that the mommies LOVE =) I think Kayla and Wesley will fall right in line with their siblings...

Easter

The Lodes clan came over to celebrate Easter. Keira was thrilled to spend the day with her FAMILY =) She had a blast playing golf with Uncle Bryan and blowing bubbles on the deck. Thanks everyone for making it a special day!

Yo Gabba Gabba LIVE

Yo Gabba Gabba came to the Fox! Aunt Jen, Uncle Billy and Avery sat in the row right behind us. The girls had so much fun! It was amazing to watch the excitement Keira had when seeing her favorite characters in real life!
